Device Information

• Device type and model
• Operating system and version

• IP address and approximate geolocation
• App/extension version
• Device identifiers

Usage Data

We track how you interact with the Service:

• Features used and frequency

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers, but we receive:

• Last 4 digits of payment method
• Subscription status and billing cycle

Third-Party Authentication

If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive:

• Email address (verified)
• Display name and profile picture
• Google account ID

2. How We Use Your Information

4. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion
• Scan History: Retained for up to 1 year (or as configured in your settings)
• Deleted Scans: Permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
• Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance
• Device/Usage Logs: Retained for 180 days

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Keep you logged in across sessions
• Remember your preferences
• Measure product analytics
• Detect abuse and fraud

Do Not Track

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. We honor these signals for analytics tracking, but certain functionality (like login) cannot be disabled.

NiceTry operates in the United States and stores data on servers located in the US. If you are accessing NiceTry from outside the US, you understand that your information will be transferred to and stored in the US. By using NiceTry, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of NiceTry constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
